ATR members profit from a reduced conference fee for the annual TRACE conference, as well as from a price reduction for subscribing the Dendrochronologia journal. In addition, members are given priority to join ATR (supported) events, and are eligible to apply for financial support.

Payment details
Annual membership fees are 50 Euros for professional, and 20 Euros for student members (under-/graduate and Ph.D. students). Fees can be conveniently paid via PayPal. Alternatively, a bank transfer is possible (please find ATRs bank details below). Please note: Since ATR is an association according to German law, it is known and named by financial institutions (bank + PayPal) as Gesellschaft für Jahrringforschung e.V.
For retired colleagues, a fee reduction of 30 Euros is offered (i.e. annual fee of 20 Euros).
Lastly, ATR offers a lifetime membership (unlimited subscription period; non-recurring) for 1.000 Euros. Lifetime membership fees are to be paid via bank transfer to avoid high processing fees of PayPal.

ATR bylaws
The bylaws of the Association for Tree-Ring Research are available in English and German. The English version is a certified translation of the original German bylaws. In case of divergence, the German version shall prevail.
